Steven Keith Caise, aged 70, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 7, 2025, at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee, IL. Born on June 11, 1954, to the late Robert K. and Mary Alice Caise, Steve was a retired Sheet Metal Worker from Local Union 265. He was the previous owner of Father Times in Essex and had most recently worked part-time as a groundskeeper at High Point Golf Course in Essex. Steve had a passion for fishing and golfing. He is survived by his daughter, Stefanie Bruciak, two grandchildren, Gavin and Delaney Bruciak, brother and sister-in-law Michael and Lorry Caise, and cherished friends who became like family. He was preceded in death by his son Chad Steven Caise, brother Kim Caise, and his parents. Cremation rites will be accorded and a memorial visitation will be held at the R.W. Patterson Funeral Home & Crematory on Friday, March 14, 2025, from 4-6 p.m. Inurnment will be private.
