Sherry Fieldman, aged 82, of Braidwood, IL, passed away on Friday, March 7, 2025, at Advocate Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn. She was born on July 11, 1942, in Bloomington, IL, to John and Sylvia Boman. On July 6, 1985, she married Lee Fieldman in Wilmington, IL. Sherry enjoyed camping, fishing, traveling, and was a devoted Chicago Cubs fan. Most of all, she cherished spending time with her family. Surviving Sherry are her husband Lee Fieldman, children Patti Hertz, Rob Bishop, and Darcie Saltzman, sister Joan Heck, 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, son John Curtis Bishop, and a granddaughter. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2025, starting at 10:00 am until the funeral service at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Wilmington. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
