Jennifer M. Brandt, 40, of Braidwood, IL, Dies at Morris Hospital

Jennifer M. Brandt, age 40, passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2025 at Morris Hospital in Morris, IL surrounded by her family. She was born on January 4, 1985 in Joliet, IL and was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Braidwood.

Jennifer worked for Local 731 in the Welfare and Pension Fund office, was a member of Lake Will, served as a Treasurer on the Executive Board, and was also a member of ABATE. She cherished her role as a mother to Savana, and took pride in her relationships as an aunt to her nieces and nephews. She enjoyed baking and participating in DIY workshops with her family.

Surviving her are her daughter, Savana Helton; mother, Annette (nee Jepsen) Brandt; two brothers, Eric (Ashley) Brandt and Jeffrey (Holly) Brandt, Jr.; grandparents, Gerald and Virginia Jepsen; nieces and nephews, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Jeffrey Brandt, Sr., grandparents Jerry and Ruby Cassem, Kenneth and Norene Brandt, and cousin Mellissa “Missy” Brandt.

Visitation will be held at the R.W. Patterson Funeral Homes & Crematory on Saturday, March 29, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 1:00 p.m., followed by cremation rites. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in her name may be directed to the family or Lightways Hospice in Joliet, IL.
