Viola (Reardanz) Domagalla, Cherished Matriarch, Passes Away at 100
Viola B. Domagalla | R W Patterson Funeral Homes & Crematory

Viola (Reardanz) Domagalla passed away after a full and beautiful life that blessed her family and friends with 100 years of love, wisdom, and treasured memories. She was born on August 21, 1924, to Cora and Fred Reardanz, and was the eighth of nine children. Viola was married to Raymond Domagalla for over 60 years, creating a life filled with love, hard work, and family on their farm.

Affectionately called "Gigi" by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchild, Viola was the heart of their home, always ready with a game to play, a story to tell, or a delicious meal to share. She had a magical touch with plants, excelling in gardening well into her 80s. Viola found joy in crafting, particularly ceramics and crocheting, leaving behind treasured handmade items for her family.

Viola's legacy of love, kindness, and resilience will be forever cherished by her daughter Shirley Stam, grandchildren- Stacey, Steven, and Sarah, great-grandchildren, and sister-in-law Charlotte Domagalla. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond, son Raymond Jr., and siblings Earl, Myron, Willis, Fred, Ruby, Adeline, and Dorothy. Cremation rites were accorded, and a celebration of Viola's life will be held at the R.W. Patterson Funeral Home & Crematory on Wednesday, March 19, with visitation and a memorial service. In honoring Viola's memory, the family encourages planting a garden, sharing a homemade meal, or lending an ear to those in need—a reflection of the love and care Viola bestowed throughout her life. Rest in peace, dear Gigi, your love will remain a guiding light in our lives.
