Four Reed-Custer High School soccer players have been recognized with All-Area post-season honors for their performances this season.
Wyatt Crater and Brady Shultz were awarded first-team honors for the 2024-2025 All-Area competition by the Kankakee Journal. Josh Conger received a special mention, while Jack Krall earned an honorable mention.
According to the report, senior Wyatt Crater also received an honorable mention for the 2024 Herald-News All-Area Boys Soccer Team. In November, Crater was named the team's Most Valuable Player and was included in the ICE All-Conference team alongside Shultz, Krall, and Conger. The four players were also acknowledged as Illinois High School Soccer Coaches Association All-Sectional award winners: Crater with first-team honors, Shultz and Conger with honorable mentions, and Krall as All-Academic. Additionally, Carter Jones was recognized for sportsmanship.
Reed-Custer High School has extended its congratulations to its team members for their achievements this season.
