Dale Edward Tyler, aged 66, of Braceville, IL, passed away on Friday, November 29, 2024, at Loyola Medical Center in Maywood, IL, surrounded by his family. Born on June 19, 1958, in Joliet, IL, Dale was a lifelong resident of the Braceville-Gardner area. He married Traci Winchell on August 8, 1998, at the Braceville United Methodist Church, and together they raised their sons Patrick and Kevin Winchell. With a career in accounting at the Braidwood Nuclear Plant, Dale pursued his passion for the outdoors through hunting and fishing. As a dedicated freemason and member of the Mazon Masonic Lodge #826 for over 30 years, he served in various capacities, including as secretary.

Known for his caring nature, Dale found joy in supporting others. He is survived by his sons Patrick (Megan) Winchell and Kevin Winchell, brother Karl (Karla) Tyler, sister Lynn (Lindy) Hahn, sisters-in-law Terri (Jim) Schultz, Tommi (Robert) Sorensen, brothers-in-law Joe (Cindy) Winchell, Dan (Lynnette) Winchell, and many nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his wife Traci Lynn Tyler, parents Margaret and Jack Tyler, and mother-in-law Janis Winchell.

Visitation will be held at R.W. Patterson Funeral Home & Crematory on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, with funeral services following. Cremation rites will be honored with a private inurnment at Braceville-Gardner Cemetery.
