Former Comet wrestler Kody Marschner was recently highlighted in a publication by Southwest Minnesota State University (SMSU) Wrestling.
According to the publication, Marschner, who graduated in 2023, was a member of the Comets wrestling team from 2019 through his final year. During his time at Reed-Custer High School, he achieved a total of 147 wrestling victories. His accomplishments include receiving three separate honors at the All-State competition and becoming a Greco state champion. Additionally, he was recognized as an All-State football player and played as both a defensive lineman and guard.
Marschner completed his first wrestling season at SMSU with a record of 10-6. He secured first place at the Yellowjacket Open. In the summer of 2024, he earned U20 All-American honors.
